Alexander

Overview

Alexander is named with Hymenaeus in 1 Timothy as one who made shipwreck of the faith and was delivered to Satan for discipline.

He represents the danger of rejecting faith and a good conscience within the church’s life.

This Alexander may or may not be the same person as Alexander the coppersmith in 2 Timothy, so the vault keeps the notes distinct.
