Summary

King of Israel and son of Omri who becomes the darkest royal example in 1 Kings. Under the influence of Jezebel, Ahab promotes Baal worship, opposes Elijah, covets Naboth’s inheritance, and dies under prophetic judgment after rejecting Micaiah son of Imlah.
