Summary
Numbers traces Israel’s 40-year wilderness journey from Sinai to the plains of Moab. The name “Numbers” comes from the two censuses (chapters 1–4 and 26). Between them lies a generation of rebellion, punishment, and wandering. The book shows what happens when God’s people refuse to trust Him — and what happens when they finally do.
